For any layman in our country, the concept of energy conservation is an energy-saving light bulb and, at best (if you have a technical background), smart home appliances.

But basically, most people, with energy conservation issues, are faced precisely in these areas of their life (if the housing and communal services system does not work). For the average person who does not need to delve into problems of a national scale, participation in the government’s energy conservation program means replacing the old Ilyich bulb with an energy-saving lamp.

But energy-saving lamps, today are ten times more expensive, but people still buy, because according to the Law 261-f3 from 2012. incandescent lamps in our country will not be produced. Accordingly, lamps of such manufacturers appeared on the market that no one had heard of before.

But not only household appliance manufacturing companies are striving to solve the problem of energy saving; in order to catch the outgoing energy-saving train it is necessary to invest in completely new developments. And in such developments, energy conservation also has a very worthy place.

For example, launched this summer in an autonomous flight, the British unmanned aerial vehicle "Zephyr"Using only the energy of sunlight, it took off from a military base in Arizona and landed two weeks later, setting a world record. During the night period of the flight, the power of the propeller-bearing gliders was supplied by batteries recharging during the day.

The Zephyr’s air features were significantly improved thanks to a completely new wing and tail design and correspondingly modified avionics. But the main thing is energy-saving systems, which throughout the flight made it possible to provide the engines with the necessary amount of electricity and the wingspan with the solar panels located on them.

The development of this apparatus, as always happens, began to be undertaken by the British War Department, but the characteristics of the aircraft showed that the use of such apparatuses is possible not only in military conditions or for the needs of the police, with such characteristics exploitation is possible for other purposes.

Naturally, with a significant wing size (about 50 m.) And such a small carrying capacity (up to one hundred kg.), Its use in the national economy looks more than doubtful ("Corn", which is still produced in China, is better).

But the use of such devices as Zephyr or similar devices equipped with an energy-saving system that provides non-stop flight at night will be crucial in the future.

And we have something to answer to Chamberlain, for example, in one of the research centers of the Urals, a new panel has been developed for generating solar energy, which is seventy-five percent more efficient and lighter than silicon.

Why not apply this invention in a real project - not create an airplane of the future? Who's bothering? If the president himself calls for the introduction of new technologies in everyday life. The use of such developments will make it possible to bring the idea of ​​an “airplane without fuel” to industrial designs, and not like it did with Jet — after signing the contract, they sawed the money and then forced the special fathers to rivet a new plane almost for free. Fortunately, such people still remained in the country.

Why not let youth work on such a project not somewhere in California, but here in the Urals, in Siberia? After all, energy saving has become one of the main conditions in the development of new projects today.All technologically developed countries realized that life on hydrocarbons means that there is simply no future, that the future is with alternative energy sources.
