No light is on - help!

What to do, did the lights go out in the apartment? The article gives a brief description of the troubleshooting technique in the power supply system of an apartment, a private house by those who have never done this — single boys and girls, men and women who do not have special education.

The lights went out - and immediately there were a lot of problems: how can I watch the series, in the morning a bath, a toilet, a hairdryer? Let's try to help ourselves. The first thing you need is local lighting: a flashlight, a mobile phone, a lighter, in a pinch, a candle, matches. The best thing now is the LED flashlight, which is mounted on the head - very comfortable and hands free.

No light is on - help! Now let’s determine how the light is off: in the whole apartment or in one room. If in one room, of course, we look at an incandescent light bulb - a hair dangles - then it needs to be replaced.

And here is the stop - before replacing it is necessary to put the switch in the "off" position. This is due to safety precautions (TB).

And if the lamp is a housekeeper, is there no hair on it? Then the replacement of a knownly suitable lamp, but during screwing in and out, you need to lower your head and cover your eyes: very rarely, but it happens that the bulb bursts. As a rule, hands are not cut with glass, but they can get into the eyes.

Another aspect of TB is height: you need to reach the light bulb, and for this you need an absolutely reliable chair, a stool. In no case do not neglect this - you can get very serious injuries to your arms and legs, or even worse.

Not scared? Then forward, to the switch. Turn on - LIT! I'm happy for you. And if not? Then we go to the counter and look at the traffic jams. Traffic jams are a safety device against short circuit (short circuit) or high load (current is more than normal).

No light is on - help! There are different types of these devices:

1. the cork itself, with a wire insert of a certain diameter,

2. automatic traffic jams,

3. circuit breakers.

Worst of all, these are corks with a wire insert. It is advisable to have constantly 2-3 new ones to replace. And with machines it’s easier: I clicked and it’s the end, but I would advise you not to rush. Walk around the apartment and turn off all electrical appliances - electric stoves, electric kettles, microwave ovens, hair dryers, a TV, a refrigerator, and now after the traffic jams are restored, we turn on the electrical appliances in turn.

Perhaps after one of them, the light goes out again, which means that here is the main malfunction. The device must be disconnected and repaired.

Such an option is also possible when the voltage does not fit the meter itself. In this case, it is not difficult to determine - in electronic meters, if there is voltage, the LEDs light up, and the old type meters slightly buzz. In this case, we call the ZHEK or RES and call the electrician on duty. All malfunctions are up to your counter, they must be corrected for free.

Oh, so now I’ll change ordinary traffic jams for automatic traffic jams at home, so that the hassle is less when electricity is turned on. And why the article says nothing that it would not be bad to use at least one dielectric gloves when searching for the cause of the disappearance of electricity. So all the same, the probability of electric shock decreases many times.
