How are programmed room thermostats for underfloor heating arranged and working

How are programmed room thermostats for underfloor heating arranged and workingThermostats (thermostats) for "warm floors" are necessary, first of all, as a means of ensuring the most optimal and most accurate control of the heating system "Warm floor". The most comfortable floor heating of the house, optimal energy consumption, and simply convenient automated climate control of the room are the main tasks that the room thermostat solves.

In the process, the thermostat receives data on the temperature in the room (or floor temperature) from the temperature sensor, and, in accordance with the data received, switches the heating system on or off.

There are programmable and non-programmable thermostats. A non-programmable thermostat maintains the room temperature at a strictly specified level, and cannot independently change the value of the set temperature. Such thermostats are usually installed in the bathroom or toilet.

This is the simplest way to control both underfloor heating and heating systems in general. Both programmable and non-programmable room thermostats are wall mounted.

A programmable thermostat, in contrast to a non-programmable thermostat, is able to provide heating in the most optimal way for a person, because it can be programmed to turn on and off by setting parameters that are convenient for you. For example, floor heating can occur in strictly defined morning hours, and at specified evening hours.

On the specified weekend, the heating can be larger or smaller, and the temperature can also be set to the desired value at the right time of the day. It can differ at different time intervals, and be maintained at a higher or lower level for a given long period of time, or the system can be in a completely disconnected state, while there is no special need for heating.

As a rule, programmable thermostats have a digital display that provides easy setup of the program, and a few buttons, or a touch control system for the device, providing ease of use. Standard programs can be modified by the user as he wants.

You can install a floor heating program when the owners come home or by the weekend, if there is such a need. Heating can be turned off at night or in the absence of the owners of the house. If a two-tariff electricity metering system is used, then a programmable thermostat can be set to turn on a more favorable tariff during hours and turn off when it is completed.

The room thermostat is equipped with temperature sensorwhich measures the temperature of the air in the room. The temperature sensor can be either built-in in the room thermostat, if the device is installed directly in the room where the temperature is to be controlled using the heating system, or such a sensor can be installed separately (this is true specifically for "warm floors").

As a rule, the sensor "warm floor" comes with a room thermostat. In cases where there is increased humidity in the room, a draft, or others that could interfere with the operation of the device, factors, a temperature sensor and a thermostat are installed in different places, and sometimes in different rooms, so that the thermostat can work properly in safe conditions for it.

The use of a programmable thermostat is convenient with any type of underfloor heating, because it can provide switching on and off both the boiler and the heating cable.
